Dealing with multiple page sizes in files submitted for "The Book"
Commonly, a Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Adobe PDF file is used for tall documents in case the file needs to be printed on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. A Microsoft PowerPoint file, PPT, is most commonly sized for viewing on a screen, which is a wider, shorter format. This presents an issue when mixing page sizes in the book. There is a white color band along the top or sides to fill the remainder of the page along the shorter dimension. Below are some examples of how a book will be created when multiple document sizes have been submitted. We have used 8.5" x 11" for the example, but you are not constrained to that size.
